Doug Lee
Doug founded Doug Lee & Associates Inc (FreshStartBC) in 2005 after many years with prestigious and high profile firms across Canada. Doug launched FreshStartBC because of his passion for helping individuals find their own financial FreshStart.
Doug believes in giving back to the community where he lives and works. He is a strong supporter of local community events and local arts, and has supported Kaleidoscope Theatre for many years. An avid cyclist, hiker and gardener, Doug came to Victoria because of the active lifestyle and his love of nature.
Doug specializes in finding alternatives to bankruptcy and his many years of experience are complemented by his industry credentials; Doug is a Licensed Insolvency Trustee, a Chartered Accountant (CA), and a member of the Canadian Association of Insolvency Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP)
Amanda Belfry
Amanda has been in the insolvency industry for over 20 years as a BIA Councillor and an Estate Administrator. Her favourite thing about working with individuals is the opportunity she gets to help people see the light at the end of tunnel, and provide them the tools and support they need to get their FreshStart.
Amanda mixes a blend of compassion and no-nonsense approach. People enjoy working with her as they feel listened to, and know exactly what is expected of them in order to succeed.
She has been on the west coast since she was a child and loves the outdoor lifestyle. When she is not helping people at the office, she is raising her teenage daughter. They love spending time with family and friends, and they also love attending the events, festivals and concerts held around the island.
